x2 on the basic Harley ones. I went ahead and bought the HD fitted saddlebag liners as well. They don't take up as much room as I thought they would. Had one of the bag liners full of clothes, slid it down in the saddle bag and still had room for more stuff.
You are going to pay a couple bucks extra for the HD stuff but, as some have said and I have come to adopt in most cases, you get what you pay for and me personally, I like my Harley items I use in/on my Harley if that makes sense. Pretty much the same reason I'm going to end up dropping a couple hundy on the current HD touring luggage being sold at the dealers.... unless I can find a better deal on it through weeeeebay...... Your bike, your choice. It only has to be right for you.. Later
I had a pair of Saddleman ones for my Fatty. Now for the RK I just went with the HD ones. With my 20% discount, they were the same price as Saddleman. I like them.
I used the soft HD ones for the last 70K miles. They are good. Now started to get some wear holes and the bottom plasting thing is all broke apart. I was out at OBX bike week and bought some from Innovative Storage Solution and I like them much better.
