I'm on rg.org. I don't have time to post this thread both places or I would. I'll check out the lower deflectors and such as I have neither. As far as the iron aces, I need the splitter cable. I'll stop by Radio Shack and see what they have.

I just found out that the bars I have are made by Handlebar Lee. The flat front and rear of the tubing is the dead give away.

it going to be a bad a-s Shark when your done with it.

On the cable you get a lot better sound if you get the cable that connects audio off the docking port on you IPhone instead of using the headphone port . Its also easier to just make the 1 connection on the bottom and charge and have audio.

I already have the cable that connects the iphone via the charging port but it is in the left glove box so i am going to have to take the fairing off to do that. The other thing I need is the module to allow the stock hand controls to work with my radio. There are two that are available and they both cost the same. Bike Tronics and Hawg Wired. I have read about issues with both. Which should I get?

It's already bad *** but I am sure everything will be changed at least once knowing me. Anyone want to trade a Klock Works or similar windshield that is 14" for a 12"? This has been on my bike for two weeks and should have gotten one a little taller as the wind in my ears is intolerable without ear plugs.

I believe only the biketronics universal hand control unit will work with your Alpine head unit. I like that Biketronics keeps the AVC.

I read about the BikeTronics having some sort of lag in response? Has anyone experienced this? It's $150 and I want it to be worth while as I have recently discovered that everything costs more for baggers and there is a lot more stuff to spend my cash on. LOL. Is it worth the $150? As long as I can use the hand controls I would thinks so as the way it works now it is a long reach to the stereo and I am changing songs on the freeway at 70mph. Okay, I answered my own questions.

Never heard that???I'm using Biketronics without any problem? All plug and play. Ya could get a PAC controller for about $50 if ya don't mind cutting and soldering wires and resisters.

I just put on my Brukus saddlebag secure. http://brukus.com/
It took about 10 minutes. Really, that was all. Pull the saddlebag pins and clips off the mounting brackets, slide the Brukus speed nut over the bracket and screw in the torx + bolts with the washer and lock washer on it. Everything already comes put together as it is supposed to be so there is not need to compare pictures to bolts, etc like a lot of stuff. I know, I could have made these myself but I like supporting other forum vendors who provide quality products at a great price.

Saddlebag theft is quite an issue out where the shop is as I have several people come in telling me that their bags got stolen. With the stock setup as it is all you need is a screwdriver to pry the bags regardless of if they are locked or not. One customer had his bags stolen with the bike parked right in his driveway.

My bike is in a carport with a cover and lock but not an enclosed garage so I figure an inexpensive product like this is well worth it. I will add these to any bike I ever have that has saddlebags. My Corbin seat has a lock on it so I did not get the seat lock kit, but if it did not you better believe that I would. Thanks Brukus.
