Went to the memorial day rally in Sandy Hook, MS last weekend. Had a great time. While riding down to the coast on Saturday my bike just died. Still had electrical and was firing just wouldn't crank. Called GCHD for help. Long story short these guys went out of their way to help me. My trouble turned out to be the fuel pump, Chuck the GM and Harry a master tech stayed late on a holiday weekend to fix my bike. Everybody there treated me like my problem was their problem. Great dealership and staff in my experience, just wish I lived closer to them. Anybody down that way, stop in they're good people.
thats awesome!!
On the road that kind of service can make or break a trip.
Same dealership didnt have any mini fuses when I was on the road and tripping fuses due to a short I had developed and not yet identified, they sent me to auto zone and never even came outside while I took it apart to see if I could find the short.
I was 1700 miles from home and having no lights on the bike and couldnt figure it out, it had just started at this point, anyway I walked away feeling like geese, they couldnt be bothered to help me even a little, it was a weekday nothing special in the middle of the afternoon, maybe 2ish.
I just picked up the bike 4 days earlier and was making my way home from Ms to Ct I didnt have a manual and hadnt been on a Harley for 5 years as I was riding another bike since 08 when I sold my 04 Road King.
Anyway I was pretty intimidated at first not having gotten comfortable with it yet and would have appreciated a little courtesy at least even if was just to pretend and look
When I saw the dealership I thought great a Harley dealer they will help me out, lol, NOT
I ended up trailering it home after a day of searching unsuccessfully for the short, I ended up finding the short the day after I got home, DOH!

Bought my RG from there and Chuck is a cool dude. He even called me a couple weeks later just to see how things were going with the new bike, good folks.
