Have a fat boy and a street glide. The glide is for riding. The fat boy is for short bar type rides. As my buddies say the FB is not as much fun to ride but gets all he attention when we get to a stopping point.
Both bikes are fun. I have older models, an 03 fatboy and an 05 road king. After putting an air ride in the FB, it rides incredibly comfortable. It does however seem to red line at the higher speeds, the RK seems to want to go faster. In any case, both bikes are fun. But if I were to go to Alaska, Id take the RK, hands down.
