I use itunes to make my mp3 cd's. I put 10 hours of music per CD, and the best part if I lose it, gets scratched, broken, or heatdamaged, I just burn another copy. The main down side to using the Ipod on the bike it is that you have to secure it everytime your off the bike. Cd's are cheap and easy to handle

Now that Kury part is off the chain so to speak lol. I have an 8GB nano and that's perfect!

I use an itrip on full size ipod and put it in my pocket. I can usually manipulate the click wheel thru the jacket/vest.

You can convert the files directly in the Itunes program.

Select the songs you want to convert.
Click on the "Advanced Tab"
Select "Convert selection to MP3"

That will work for non-protected ACC files (itunes native format), like if youimport a cd that you owninto Itunes. However it will not work forprotected songs purchased from ITunes.
