You will have to learn to ride the street glide because it will handle a little different,,but when you do ,you'll love it,,untill I got an ultra classic, I never could kick back, turn up the tunes and cruse for miles at a time,,it is fricken great,,get the glide and have fun
Glad I skipped right over the in-betweens and bought an Ultra. Sure, I test rode SGs but love my Ultra. Depends on what your after. SG is a great solo ride. Ultra great for 2up

Dumping the SuperGlide for a bagger only works if you are dissatisfied with the 'Glide. If you really enjoy the SuperGlide, the bagger will not satisfy the 'Glide riding characteristics and you will have buyers remorse. Keep the SuperGlide because you really enjoy it. Add a bagger when you can and you will sleep well. Sometimes two bikes are the correct solution.

You are correct sir! 2 bikes would do the trick. I just can't do it right now.
I all ready committed to the Electraglide classic and if all the numbers on the deal stay the same it's mine.
I really do think I will ride so much more with the bagger. Riding the Superglide around town is fun but that seems to be as far as I go. I'm not 25 anymore and don't like fighting the wind and the better half doesn't like to go far on it. Hopefully with the comfort of the bagger she will go on some trips and I can pour on some miles.
Buying the quick detach kit for the TourPac and a nice solo seat and I'll have a nice solo ride for around town.
Welcome to the tour-family. I traded my Fat Bob for a Road Glide Ultra & I have no regrets. I mostly ride 2-up w/the Bride, so this ride is so much nicer than the Dyna.
Hold onto your wallet, because this forum loves to spend all you got!! :-)
completely different beast than the Superglide..ideally both would be nice. The Superglide felt like a rocket compared to this but of course I am taking it easy so far. I no doubt see me riding tons more. Cruising at 70 will be effortless on this..it was a workout on the Superglide. The storage is great. Got caught in a bit of rain on the way back and though never fun it was hardly noticeable on my upper half. Ordered a pair of soft lowers at the suggestion of the salesman for $80.
All in all a much more practical bike for what I want.
Thanks again for all the advice. Gotta go ride now!!!
