I just picked up a 2000 RK classic that has some off brand slip-on's and in my opinion it doesn't sound good. I found a guy in my area selling a Rineheart true duel set up for a pretty good price but its coming off his 2001 Electra Glide, anyone know if this would bolt directly to my 00' RK?
I want to do something to the exhaust to make it sound better, my plan was to get slip-on's, even this true duel system is a little more money than I would like to spend but the sound of what I have now is gonna drive me nuts...
No. BUT to get any kind of performance benefit, a free flowing intake and fuel management system should be installed. If you don't, the change will be purely for looks and sounds only.

I am really just going for sound here. I have a line on the Rineheart true duel set up or V&H slip-on's. Slip-on's are half the money and if I am just going for sound here is it worth the extra money for the duels? Both exhausts are used by the way, if that makes any difference...
If you are just going for sound, no need to add anything further than the slip ons. Being used makes no difference at all. I have 4" Rinehart True Duals on my Road King and I love them but I also have an Arlen Ness Big Sucker intake system as well as Power Commander as I was looking for both sounds and performance gains....

Thanks! Good to know... The guy selling the V&H slip on's is asking $225 but I think I can beat him up a little on the price. They are 4" I am a little worried they will look too big on there though. I just looked at the pic of your bike and mine is the same red (I think) but mine is black below the stripe on the tank.
We've got a special on our MGS 4-inch Slip-ons for $299. Great sound and performance. Adds 7+ ft lbs of torque just by bolting them on with no other mods.
