softail engine in touring bikes?

I've ridden a couple different Glides. A 2012 and my 2013. Both do it. You can get an exaggerated version of the vibe pretty easily. Get up to about 2300 RPMs in just about any gear and then rear brake only pretty hard. You will feel and should see the bars shake pretty hard for a sec while you are braking. Feels a lot like ABS. All this is done while the clutch is out and not applying front brake. I'm assuming this shake is because of the rubber mount motor? Rapid RPM drop and energy transfer/rear end firmed up because of braking? It's a similar feeling when you are on stopped on flat ground and hold in the front brake hard. You get a bunch more vibes when you grip the front brake hard at a stop. Let go and the vibes go away.... mostly. I personally don't really mind but.... the 103B motors don't do that. You can balance a quarter on the bars with the motor running on a Softail. Can't do that on a Glide. Still, love my Glide and wouldn't trade it for anything.
