I get the flashing green light on the cruise indicator light when rolling the throttle forward. When i go into my pv and go to try to check the EIMTS box, it wont check, its like its disable.
Also, does anyone know what active intake and exhaust means and does when you check those boxes on the pv?
if you've got the flashing green light on the cruise, then i'm pretty sure that you've got eitms enabled. if you really want to check, then put your pv where you can see it, switch your gauges on the screen so you can monitor head temp, and let it idle until it reaches over 280*. if the rear cylinder doesn't shut down, then you've not got it enabled.
i know i've seen it before in winpv, but i just pulled up my map and eitms isn't even in there anywhere. but mine definitely works.
as far as active intake and exhaust goes, don't worry about them. those are for the hdi bikes. we don't use them here in the states.
Check marking the box does nothing. You have to open that line and then change the 0 to a 1. If it didn't 't activate st 315, then the temp is set wrong. Go to EITMS Trmp On and change the value. I use 284. I'm not at my computer so my terminology may be off.
