Works great. Use it on the bike and on the cars. On the cars I just use whatever carwash soap I have on hand and just do a final rinse wtih the filtered setting and they all come out spot free.
The washer unit has 3 settings, 1) regular water flow, 2) soapy water discharge and 3) fine water spray thru a water filter that removes minerals from the water. Minerals in the water are what cause water spots. It uses its own soap that you put into a reservoir. It is supposed to have additives that help the water sheet off the finish. You wet the bike, then spray with the soap. Wash the bike by hand and then rinse with the fine water spray. It dries spot free. The catch? You have to buy their soap and water filters. No harm to your finish.
I used it for the 1st time the other day. I washed the bike , rinsed it off good and walked away. Went back in30mins bike was dry and spotless , AMAZING product!!!
I've been here for over2 years now and one of my first threads I started was about the Mr. Clean Auto Dry. My son got me one for Father's Day a couple of years ago and I loved it. I moved up to the Mr. Clean Auto Dry Pro and love it even more. It has more pressure with an extra setting. My bike has never looked so good. The key is to only use their soap in it and make sure the filter is changed often. I also have a Cycle Dryer that works very well if you are really in a hurry. Most of the time I just let it dry on it's own. No water spots at all.
the ol' lady bought it for me last fathers day, i love it and use it every time I was, a little polish to the chrome after and we are happy campers, no spots, no haze...mr clean auto dry is worth it, and the filters and soap aren't all that bad to purchase.
I had the feeling their soap was actually stripping off my wax. When usedonmy truck it seemed fine. When used on a highly waxed car it had little effect. Numerous times on the car and it seemed to work better. After car waswaxed again Mr clean not as effective again.
ive been using mine for over 2 years now. love it for the bike. i used the original filter for a bit too long, but still no spots. i think mine may be leaking soap. have to refill it about everyother wash.
I must be technologically handicapped.
I live 15 miles out of town in the hills.
I got prairie grass growing up through my gravel parking area.
My well is 500 feet deep, my hose is drained and coiled in the winter,
but lays out fully charged all summer.
I get a bucket, fill it with water from hose, squirt in laundry or dishsoap
get a rag or sponge.
Wet the bike with well water (I also drink from it, don't buy that fancy bottled drinking water)from hose, dip rag in bucket of soapy water and apply elbow
grease to all areas of bike, for stubborn spots on motor and tranny, a little
engine brite sprayed on, a soft bristle brush, then rinse off with water from
hose.
Wipe off excess water from bike with a clean dry rag.
Mother nature here provides enough wind daily and heat from sun to finish drying.
Then I apply polish again with a rag and wipe off.
Now every once in a while I just sit there and drink beer and watch as the G/F does
all of it.
Bet she looks better in bikini and out than those technological marvel machines
and more fun too!
