Hey my67pnycar6, just noticed your out in the sand box, thanks for your service over there. Most of the guys I work with are out of rotation now, so good to see most all of our troops coming back home and staying home for awhile! Enjoy that retirement, man you deserve it!!!!! As for the pics will work on taking some when I stop riding, looks like a stock Midnight Pearl bike, oh yeah, it is a stock Midnight Pearl bike! LOL
Thanks for the thanks man. Under 75 days left, WOOOHOOO!! Dunno what the hell I am gonna do when I first retire, so used to the military way of life, gonna be a HUGE change, might go ride for a week, . Why can't you take pics now, you aint ridin, your postin, lmao.. Enjoy that sweet bike you got man. Stay safe.
Welcome and congrats from Michigan on your new Harley. I spent a lot of years on metrics and none of them gave me a feeling like a Harley. I did try 2 Victory's but they feel like a US built Metric bikes.
I have 20000 miles on my 11 King and still love her. I wish you the best and the Street Glide is one of the best bikes you can get. Ride safe.
Congrats on the bike. Pony gave you some good advice, if you like to do wrenching. i just picked up a service manual but havent done anything really except read it. i take that back, my running lights went out and it helped me replace the fuse. its a little too overwhelming for me right now. besides, i got the service contract so until its up I'm going to ride the **** out of it and let them do the service....but at least i will know what it intails and the processes. its positioned for easy access while reading the forum.

Retirement is just another mission. Enjoy ,In about 2 more years I will retire from a second career this time it will be my last one
Congrats. I can attest to the overwhelming power of modding a harley. Used to ride a victory bobber and I loved it. But hated begging everyone for space in their bags. It was time for my own bagger. The vic touring bikes are so fugly and most of the stealers have shut down around here so I was lookin at harley. I never really cared for any other model besides the deluxe. I rode my friends sg and that was that. Sold my bike. Walked in did the damn thing. Argued over price and **** for like an hour got to where I wanted to be and rode it home.
Week later I've got slip ons, AC, cams, and monkey bars at the door. Waiting on a PV and the rest of my air ride ****. I sold my soul to the biker gods in Valhalla lkng ago.
Ride safe and enjoy!!! I know what you must be feeling right now... My 2013 midnight blue and silver FLHTCU has just shy of 500 miles on the clock... This is my fourth Hawg and third batwing... The manuals and bike lift are good sound advice from seasoned riders... You would do well to heed it...
