i have the tall boy, its ok, but not sure I would do it again, doesn't seem to move me back enough, comfort is ok, but not something to brag about. i am 6"6", 255
I'm about the same height and weight, 36" inseam, and found the flhtp air solo w/ mustang's pillon to be the most comfortable combination. It moved me up quitea bit (my thigh now slopes down like a normal person) and back just a bit. Around town I leave the pillon off, on long rides I can slide back onto it to stretch out...
Although I would love to tell you that the Tall Boy is great. I can't.
I agree with an earlier post about setting up too high.
It feels like you're riding on top of the bike instead of sitting down in it.
Also puts the passenger so high, the back rest hits them in the lower back.
BUT, if you really want one, I have a brand new one, in a box, I'll sell to you cheap.

I have the Air seat too and addign the mustang this spring (in the box waiting for the weather to break). I hope thats the answer for me too. I really like my air ride.
Great input! I am glad i did not fork over the tall boy cost early and waited. If this set up works i will keep it like it is.
Like the one post said dont move you back that much as it move you up and up is good for you have more padding to sit on, I can ride and ride without numb spots now, look at the thickness of the two and you see what i am saying, I love mine, 6-4 300pfd of a**.
I am 6'6 with a 37" inseam. I considered the tall boy but was talked out if it, dealer says "yes I'm serious" its a waste of money for you, with your weight {275 Lbs} in 6 months it will be the same as your stock seat
so I ride a little lower and my legs stretch out on the lowers but I'm having fun
Rabid,
Will post the results next weekend or so due to the military thing.
Finally able to install and ride the new Tall Boy Saddle.
Pro- Did sit me back a bit
Comfortable
Looks Great
Better half loves the extra paddingon the passenger pillion
Con- Sit up much higher than the windshield
Throttle hand cramps more with the stock bars (12.5or 16 Wild 1 coming soon)
May have to get the taller windshield
Also going to get the extended floor boards (50409-04). It's a bi!ch being tall sometimes. This is just my .02 cents worth.
Have a 07 Ultra. I'm 6'6" and about 230 lbs. Before I put out the bucks for the seat, did it make a difference for the rest of you "normal sized" folks??
Rabid
Try a stock roadglide seat, it gives more room and sits you down in the bike more. When I had a roadglide I really loved the seat, I'am only 6'2" but still found it way more comfortable and is a direct bolt on with a ultra.
I have the tallboy seat on a FLHRI and I like it.I'm 6-4 275 36" inseam. It does raise you up a bit more than backbut I like that. It makes the bike feel a little more nimble. I can do 800 mile days and have about 30K on it.The one problem I had was the HD logo on it wound up perforating thru and I had to have that panel replaced this winter.
