Have a 07 Ultra. I'm 6'6" and about 230 lbs. Before I put out the bucks for the seat, did it make a difference for the rest of you "normal sized" folks??
I've got a 35" inseam and was pretty disappointed in the H-D tallboy seat that I bought. Didn't really seam to move me back much on my Road Glide. There's gotta be some better choices from Mustang or others.
great topic and I am interested in hearing the comments. I have a solo airride seat still on and was going to buy the tall boy (i am 6'4 also - 36 inseem) . I decided to keep the air ride for now and installing a pass pillion for this bike for this season. If others say that it makes a big diffence then i might concider it when i give up my air ride.
6'3", 36 inseam...I mainly use a Sundowner...rider's backrest, Cruiseboards & Diamond Gusset Jeans make for a serious, stretch-out, comfort combo. Also slammed the shift pegs and added an Extended brake pedal.
The tall boy will move you back on a ultra but its the most uncomfortable seat I've ever owned I put it on my Road glide and it sets youbackabout the same distance, my stock seat is alot better but my wife dosent like the stock seat and if momma aint happy nobodys happy
Rabid,
I'm 6'3" 220 and just bought one through Zanotti's and should get it 1 Mar. I will let you know how it works out. Also curious about having to get the taller windshield or not, since the seat pushes the rider up 1 1/4 in. Will post the results next weekend or so due to the military thing.
I owned the tall boy seat and did not like it myself. It moves you back very little, felt like I went more up than back. Not the most comfortable seat in the world either IMO.
