If the heat is killin ya and the header is on backorder, why dont you just gut what you have until the new pipe gets in? Who knows, you might decide you like the kittyless stock pipe, save the 400 bucks for other upgrades, just sayin.

have you got the kittyless pipe on your bike,oh and thanks for your service
Appreciate the input. For those giving me grief for waiting til riding season to order pipes, give it some thought........there may be another reason......c'mon think about it.......I know you can do it. Correct. I just got the new bike a few weeks ago. Had I realized in December that I was going to purchase the new ride in May, I would have ordered them then.
Got to say it's strange they are all on backorder; suppose the existing stock got depleted fairly quick given the riding season is here. I got a set of Rush headers for my 06 EG about two months ago (after research of multiple brands) and cannot be happier. I think they do run a bit cooler and have definitely opened up a bit of torque, as well as contributed to a better sound with the Rinehart slip-ons. All in all, i'd say hold out and get exactly what you want, vs. ordering just something that may be currently available.
waited a month for Rush True Duals. Install is tomorrow with stage 1 air and screaming eagle performance tuner. Wanted the 2" baffles for the Big Louies but they are still on back order. Going with the 2.25. Sorry to steal the thread but anyone with a similar set up? How do you like it?

Just bought the 2" baffels for the Louies on Amazon at the beginning of last week...... $68 i think...... with free shipping...... Amazing what is for sale on Amazon
I called and spoke with Frank today at Dragos. Super nice guy and easy to work with. He said he is back ordered as well until probably after July 4th on the Dragula pipe. Black may even be longer. The ones coming in soon all have been spoken for. Cant wait to get mine.

May have to look at that. Do you know if a retune is necessary if I switch from 2.25 to2?
