So, after getting a little bonus check and it sitting on the counter for several weeks, I finally get selfish and decide to order headers for the bike. Come to find out, Vance and Hines, Rush, and Rinehart are all back ordered. Anyone else seeing the same thing? Have a new road glide and immediately put 4 inch Rinehart slip ons but need more sound and less heat.....thus the headers. Also heard from the dealer that Rinehart is supposedly coming out with some "incredible" true duals mid july. What you say
Fuel Moto. Plain stainless is usually in stock. They were working on another ceramic coater last year so they might be in stock too. Call Jamie and ask.
Or you could buy the stock gutted header off eBay for $135.
Looked at Fuel Moto tonight and they are estimating delivery on the ceramic coating pipes for the end of June. I'm not bitching, just thought it was weird that everyone was on back order. Took me two weeks to decide to spend the money and now I can't. LOL
I just installed the 4" Rineharts with the FM ceramic head pipe and full-size x-over. Surprising amount of bass, surprising volume compared to the rental bike I rode in Hawaii with Rinehart 4" slip-ons and a stock head pipe. They're pretty loud, but probably 2/3 of my old Thunderheader, maybe a bit more.
I waited so long for my FM head pipe that I sold the bike I bought it for. Then held on to it for eight months until I bought another bagger.

It's best to get stuff like this during the winter if you don't want to wait. I waited from April until August last year for my Fuel Moto ceramic coated header. Seems like they got another ceramic coater if the wait is only a few weeks now.
