I have a 2000 Rk with Fi, bone stock except for slip ons. When I cruise at between 30-40mph it stutters a little like it's starving for fuel. I was told have it tuned using a power commander. Haven't done it yet but it's just a thought for ya. Weird that you have a stage 2 and mines stock and we're kinda having the same problem. I'll be watching this thread. Good luck brother.

Having issues with my M&M injection also. The dealer suggested taking the M&M off and putting a carb on. That may be what I am fixing to do. They cranked it three times and couldn't get it do what they said it was doing, not revving up. Going to get it tomorrow so I'll see.

TPS is Throttle Position Sensor and it is located on the left side of the intake manifold. Loosen the two screws holding it in place, and you can twist it a little either way. I'm not certain this is the first thing I would try though...

Go to this page, it has a microfiche parts diagrams.

Put in year/model of your bike and you can look up diagrams for almost every part on your bike. It helps a lot to see where/what everything is. Also, get a service manual. You will need it eventually. Many shops don't like working with the magnetti morelli ignition because most people think you can't find parts any more. That's BS.

Magnetti Morrelli is the ignition system. It is not very popular, simply because they seem to have idle issues on some bikes. The ignition system used on newer models is the Delphi Ignition System. It won't work on your bike so don't worry too much on the differences.

You said you had a stage 2 done to the bike, was that including a download to the ECM? Or did you have an air/fuel management system installed? Either way, the A/F map could be incorrect. I've heard of at least one system that kept turning back to stock map because of an electrical issue. An aftermarket fuel management system like Power Commander 3 gives you the option to inspect/manipulate the fuel tables using a computer/laptop. And, I believe it actually helped to stabilize my idle issues.
