Advice Setting Vieds
I know it's been awhile but when you increased to 75% what happened?
I have a 2013 Street Glide with the adjustable Vied's
I have a S&S stealth air cleaner, catless headpipe and Bassani 4 inch megaphone slip on's
I have mine set at 100% and my plugs are a very very light tan mostly white color which tells me that the bike is still running lean
I don't have much popping, if I blip the throttle when I shift down I get some popping
On a 90 degree day in town with stop and go traffic I have had oil temps around 230 to 240 degree's

I've read just about all the threads pertaining to the FL-ViED-10 that I could find on HDF... a lot of info and opinions out there.
I should receive mine tomorrow... I've got Supertrapp slip ons 128-65117 with a screen baffle, and just installed a SE Stage 1 breather... went on a 40 mile round trip ride in town today,,, just taking it easy and surprisingly it ran pretty damn good,,, no pings, no decal popping...
never went over 50mph... It did go to Parade Mode twice on the way back, outside temps were around 84...

I used to use this guy's mufflers -- A buddy just threw his head pipe on and loves it.

$135...? Hard to go wrong there if you don't mind keeping your old pipe.

For now I've settled to 1 line right of 50%
Got this from Steve at Nightrider yesterday, I had a question after fine tuning mine during the last 400 miles. Thought I would post it.
Sam;
Closed loop is impacted right away after a change. The
adaptive learning takes 30-120 minutes to catch up.
Shift pops and Decel popping is nothing more than un-burnt fuel getting
into the exhaust header pipe in off throttle situations and mixing with fresh
air getting into the muffler (from reversion) and auto-igniting. It can be
annoying, but does not indicate a lean condition, just a free flowing muffler.
Usually a bit more fuel will reduce the incidence of it.
We always recommend riders find a setting that suits their engine
components and riding style best. That is typically 50-75% with an optional
setting of 62%. Riders that want to try additional fine tuning are free to do
so. It does take a minimum of 30-60 minutes of normal riding to allow the
adaptive learning to take place and see how the engine will react under most
situations.
Hope the information helps;
