Hello, Harley is advertising these as new and improved. I read some bad reviews on these a few years ago and crossed them out of things I wanted. Has Harley improved these? I really like that you can check your level and temp with the push of a button (if they work correctly?).
I'm also curious how accurate the level feature is? It usually takes me 3 or 4 times of stopping and checking the level to get it as close as possible to full without going over.
I've had mine for a couple years, always says 1/2 quart down when I know its not, and the right hand number has started to fade. You'll see a lot of failures in this thread, when I bought mine it was supposed to be "new and improved", not sure if it has been yet again since I bought mine.
perhaps a part number or picture would be helpful. I have had the Softail unit (63055-09) on my FatBoy for almost 2 years. Words as advertised, no complaint.

Thanks for the info!
I've returned 2 in the last 6 months for display failures which was disappointing because I really liked the units when they were working.
