These are the 12" batwing bars. Wish I would have gone with the 14"s, but I'm happy with them. And they are comfortable.

It seems in all the pics of these bars people have switched to bar-mounted mirrors. Are the fairing-mounted mirrors rendered useless by your new hand location?

Did you need to change cables and brake lines with those 12" bars? Looks like about what I'm interested in.

For me they were. If they were a little taller, you could probably see the fairing mounted mirrors with ease, but I couldn't. I also could not get adjusted to looking under my hands for mirrors instead of over the top of them.

Yeah, I had too. I wanna say you need something like +4" on both. But now, I have seen someone stretch their clutch line out and put it between the bars and fairing and that worked, but just barely.

I changes the cables with my current bars wo577 +6, but I have been told with the HD batwing bars you could reroute the cables and reuse stock.

I'm not sure about the brake cable. But that is true with the clutch.

Do you notice any movement in the bars? I had a set of 16's on an 07, and got a bunch of movement...
