I burned the upgrade to a cd, but everytime I try to update it tells me I have the wrong cd. Any ideas?

 

Did you record it at 8x.....it won't work if it's recorded at a faster speed....must be 8x or slower

I burn mine at HIGH speed and have no issues with the install!

 

I actually burned it at 1x, my trouble was I was using a CD-R disc, I switched to a CD-RW and it worked. Thanks for the help.

 

Bounty, I noticed you recently blacked out the rest of your bike. Is that real or photoshop, cause it looks pretty damn good![8D][8D]

 

Great.....my previous versions would never install if I recorded at over 8x.....weird

How "new" could this be? I bought my bike on Nov. 22nd, have never upgraded the stereo firmware, and have 8_11_0 installed.

 

The dealer must of did it before you picked it up. I bought mine Dec. 19th '06 and it had 7.8 version on it.

 

bought mine Dec 23, build date late Nov. It had 8.11 installed. Its been on the website for a few months
