Okay. Here is another question.. I just uploaded the 8.10 what are the new features that have been added.. And if anyone can tell me.. I would like to know if there is a way to get HD to make a change to the programing when in CB/FM mode.. I would like to use the CB and also use the intercom but when I talk it goes over the CB.. Is there a program that will allow you to only use the PTT for the CB and still be able to use the intercom VOX without it going on the CB?

I find this thread absolutely fascinating cuz I'veNEVER heard of being able to do a software upgrade on a RADIO/STEREO!
WOW, i never realized I was that in the dark... I'm not a caveman by any means but sure never heard of this.
So my question is, can I do the same thing to my '05 E-G? Regardless of how "out of date" a stereo's software might be I guess I can just do the download? What advantages do I get for this? IE: what changes occur???

How "new" could this be? I bought my bike on Nov. 22nd, have never upgraded the stereo firmware, and have 8_11_0 installed.

Perhaps another way to look at it is Radiosound who made your radio got it right BEFORE the radios were released us buyers. Wish I could say the same for the new radio....
