Default FXRG rain gear

Does anyone have Harley FXRG rain gear made with Cocona?
Reviews, good or bad would be helpful.
Thanks

Did not even know they made an FXRG rain gear but hard to believe they could be much better than Hi Viz barring a higher price tag. But then again, I don't know diddly...

They make it.
Supposed to be waterproof, packable and breathable.
Not sure if it's as good as the other FXRG products, I never heard of Cocona. They pulled their previous version made with Goretex off the market, not sure why.

After this weekend the days with the Harley rubber coated nylon are numbered. Sweated my you know what off in it.

Don't know about the FXRG rain gear, didn't see it listed on the website. Unless your referring to this: http://www.harley-davidson.com/store/hi-vis-rain-suit which is what I have. I can say that it sure does work well. I just stuck in a torrential downpour and I was dry as a bone. Its well made, has a the no slip rubberized a$$ panel, heat sheilds on the legs, and a mesh liner so you don't sweat your nads off wearing it. It also packs up into its own carry sack for easy storage in the saddlebags.

I have - http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...kull-rain-suit - it works. Expensive, yes, sure, but it just works, and doesn't feel cheap in any way.

That is what I have. Combine it with the gaiters and dry through anything. And like you said, with the mesh lining no sweating.

Got the Hi Viz for the girlfriend last year, was thinking about the same for me but came across this one - http://www.harley-davidson.com/store/fxrg-rain-jacket online, also looking at the incinerator - http://www.harley-davidson.com/mcm/m...bmLocale=en_ca

i have the older version of the FXRG rain gear. It sucks, like putting on a big condom. Sweat your a$$ off and very difficult to put on. Lately, I just taken to riding without rain gear and getting wet. Its less to pack, i dry out once the rain stops due to the wind and if the rain gets really bad, i just stop and sit it out. No where i am going is that important. I ride almost everyday, ride approx 25K a year, just do not see the need for utilizing rain gear anymore. I ride in my FXRG leather and it is water resistant enough that i stay mostly dry.
Now, i will say, i do not ride the bike to work, so i can understand those that ride to work needing to arrive dry and their need for rain gear.

Not familiar with the FXRG rain gear. I can tell you that I own several set of rain gear, and what I have found is that packable size is the most important issue with rain gear. If it is too large, you will not bring it with, then it is worthless.
