clutch problem....

Default clutch problem....
Okay, so I been riding this 2008 Police Road King for the past year and a half and been stuck in stop and go traffic before but never experienced the clutch point dropping, and coming loose like this. Here is a picture of what the clutch adjuster looks like now, but think the nut is off and belongs on the bottom. Otherwise, do I need to take the cover off and adjust clutch in the transmission?

What is interesting about your attachment is I do not see the typical lock nut like on a stock Harley cable. No way it can fall off. What locks your adjustment? Is the cable threads just a tight what is typically called a class 5 or interference fit?
