Mine is the old one, but if you lean the back rest forward all the way , there is a bolt going thru the bottom of the spine of the back rest, back it out to lean the back rest back, screw it in to make it lean forward. it is under a Velcro leather piece on mine.

I had to tweak mine a little bit. It came with 1/4 x 20 allen head cap screws, varying in length up to 2 inches which is just a shade to far back for me.

I could not find any full threaded cap screws at any hardward stores but ordered some 2 1/2 inch on line. They were just a shade too long, so I clipped some off with a dremel tool and covered the rest of the gap with some lock washers.

They are necessary, in my opinion, as the backrest never stayed in place without them. Now that I am dialed in, it is a matter of adding or pulling a washer at a time to set it up as needed. Also, there is a set screw in the backrest itself that can be adjusted to set the lean angle of the back rest. A short twist on this makes a big difference too.

I knew about the adjustment, it's just too far out of range. I may bend the post someday or get 20" handlebars pulled back. Corbins are like a broken-in catcher's mitt for your butt.

I went in for a custom fit at the Hollister shop when I bought my classic solo, the back rest was the only part I had a hard time fitting. It always felt like it was pushing me forward, the guy helping me was getting fed up with me. I left with it like that so I could get a longer ride on it.

After a couple weeks I went back and had them reduce the amount of foam at the base of the back rest to minimum amount they could and that did the trick.

+1 on the broken-in catcher's mitt. amazing.

The corbin dual tour does push you back almost 2 inches (according to the sales guy - and my own experience). So if you have shorter arms - you may require a handlebar adjustment for sure.

Thats the one! As you unscrew it, you'll notice it swivels front to back. Only took me 17,500 miles to figure out what it was there for...
