I just put 5,000 kms in one week on a brand new Corbin Dual Tour seat with backrest. I cannot believe how much I love this seat. My butt never hurt - totally comfortable licking back on the highway bars. I was riding with other guys who had other brands of seats - they were constantly complaining at every gas station stop.
I have nothing personally to compare it to other than the stock seat of my Ultra - but for me - unbelievably comfortable.
Corbin - if you're out there somewhere - well done.
I love my Corbin solo. Don't bother with a driver backrest, they are located too far back to be useful.
I was thinking the opposite on teh drivers backrest on my corbin. If if were back further it would be better the seat is extremely comfortable. No complaints as of yet.
There is another allen screw right in the slot up into the backrest (just like the one that holds it into the pan of the seat). It allows for tilt forward/back, etc.
I added a George Anderson tour pack relocator in order to get the passenger a bit more room with the Corbin passenger pilon. A bit goofy, but I have to remove rider and passenger seat, install tour pack first, then attach passenger, then slide rider seat into place. The passenger pilon just sits a bit too far back to allow the tour pack to be rocked forward for its install on the detachable mounts with the passenger pilon in place, so I simply install the tourpack first. Once its in place, I love it.

I had a corbin saddle on my BMW R100 and it was an awesome seat. I have not been brave enough to drop the money on a new seat since they are so user preferenced. Maybe when I cross the 100K mark. Unless I get a killer deal I cant pass up at Sturgis for one.
I had no idea my corbin backrest was adjustable. I am going to go look at it right now. I bought the bike with the seat on there. How does the backrest unattach from the seat pan? Can you post a pic of where you adjsut backrest. Mine only has 1 screw that looks like it is holding the cover on it on the back of the back rest pad.
