Default Quick Grip Question

If I buy new Avon grips for my stock bars('09 SG) can I put them on a new set of bars when I get them? On my Sporty I had to glue the left grip on and that made that grip permanently attached to those bars. I want new grips now, & new bars in a couple months, but don't want to buy grips twice. Thanks!

*****UPDATE*****
The clutch side does NOT have a 'ring' that goes under the clutch side switch control. Therefore, in order to install the clutch side you can mount the Avon grip 3 ways:
just slide it on & hope it stays (NO way!)
use the supplied tape & hope you can pull it off to put on new bars(ehhh)
use supplied tape and glue where it will NOT come off to change to new bars
Looks like I'll have to change to new bars before I can use my new grips!!

Yes you can the Avon contours are awesome high quality grips. No grip.glue. they are held on inside the switch housing a sweet setup.

Thanks for the info! I'm going w/the Air Cushions. Had them on my Forty-Eight & they felt great. Cancelled out a lot of the vibration, too!

If you use the avon glue tape you can remove them fairly easily. I moved my grips between two bars with no problem. If you contact Avon they will send you more glue tape to use.

Doesn't the left grip have the 'clutch sleeve' where it's a half moon that locks into the clutch housing? That's what I just read on their website but when I installed them on my sporty I don't remember them having the 'clutch sleeve' & I did have to use glue! Don't know if the TBW style are different on clutch side.

here a simple trick remove clucth assembly , remove left switch block . remove right brake assembly, loosen right switch block leave in screws.. undo handle bar clamp slide off the throttle switch block,, now your bars are off... heat a big kettle off boiling water place in a large jug. insert handle bar grip, using a flat blade screw driver pry the loose a bit while in the water, pull out use a towel and pull grip off and reuse
