I just ordered the Kuryakyn Isos. I had them on my last bike and loved them. Anyways, I've come to find out that they also don't go under the housing and have to be glued on. Kind off a bummer as I liked that feature about Harleys.
*****UPDATE*****
The clutch side does NOT have a 'ring' that goes under the clutch side switch control. Therefore, in order to install the clutch side you can mount the Avon grip 3 ways:
just slide it on & hope it stays (NO way!)
use the supplied tape & hope you can pull it off to put on new bars(ehhh)
use supplied tape and glue where it will NOT come off to change to new bars
Looks like I'll have to change to new bars before I can use my new grips!!
