OK I need help from anyone with experience with identifying the ABS wheel bearings. I purchased a set of wheels and they are supposed to be from an ABS bike but both bearings have the same ID on them HD-9276 F-559019 Can anyone verify? I am thinking these are from a NON-ABS bike?

ABS bearing on the left, non-abs on the right. Orange side of ABS bearing goes to the inside as pictured. ABS bearing is seated first, wheel spacer installed, then non-abs side is installed to where it just touches the internal spacer.
The ABS bearing is about 2 to 3 mm wider than the non-abs bearing in order to house the encoder components. Harley is the only place you can purchase the ABS bearing. Non-HD substitutes for the non-abs bearing are available:
The ABS bearing is a greenish/slate color. Look at both bearings if they are still in the wheel, the non abs sits in about an 1/8'' from the hub, the abs is almost flush with the hub( at least on the set of wheels I found). And yes, put in abs bearing first then non abs second.
That'd be how I'd do it. If both bearings are the same width you got yourself a set of non abs bearings on both sides. If that's the case, you're gonna need abs bearings AND non abs bearings. Like Joe said, the abs bearings have to be seated first, then the non abs side. So if you just pull the left side non abs bearing and re-seat an abs bearing it'll be 3mm too proud (stick out). The right side non abs bearing will need to be pulled over to compensate and I would never use a bearing that had been pulled with the ID surface.
Also, on the rear the abs bearing is on the right and it has to be seated first.
Lowcountry Joe.......Thank you! So with the red seal being to the inside the only way to really tell is to measure the bearing?
I think you said both were part 9276.
Part 9276 is the non-abs bearing.
Part 9252 is the ABS bearing with the encoder ring build in (thus the thicker bearing width)
Wheel bearings are not that expensive and they are critically important to your safety. Personally, I would pull those bearings and install brand new bearings. You never know if the guy before you pressure washed his bike, installed the bearings incorrectly, or over-tightened the wheel nuts (which will exert excess pressure on the bearing races and can severely reduce bearing life).
