is this looking old or to modern whit the oval pipes
a ordered the monster rounds from v&h but there is a deliver problem
so a put the monster ovals on my bike

My classic touches-Road King Classic
I replaced the cowbell horn with a 1940s look horn and the football air cleaner with a round chrome one like the 1940s bikes too. I have 1961 tank emblems, 1959 Cadillac tail lights, the chrome bag rails and front and rear fender trim.
Rat rod style pinstripping, DNA radial laced spoke wheels, the teardrop old school mirrors, and have some fender mods yet to be done to make it look even more old school.

Sweet ride kevin!!! Have to love the '61 badges and as far as I'm concerned FISHTAILS RULE! Also, the pinstripe on the tank is a very nice touch!

1st. Marines @ peleliu & okinawa 1944 -45

All that served in the armed forces are all heros to me. I tried to join the Marines but do to some bad boy stuff they wouldn't take me. Even all the other armed forces.
The GOOD LORD had other plans for me. For me the Marines are the BEST !!!
Do you know some of the history of the 1st. Marines Division - 3rd. Battalion,5th Marines at: Peleliu & Okinawa ?
Unbelievable fighting man. GOD bless all that served there and never came home.
If you like there is a Cable program 10 series called "THE PACIFIC" it about Eugene Sledge and the men who fought on those to islands.
BOOK: " WITH THE OLD BREED at PELELIU AND OKINAWA"
its a bio of what PFC. Sledge did and seen on the two islands.
