After alot of google'n I found this used. Only afterwards didI backtrack it to (see alhall88's LINK } Bubba something
There are some solo seats out there with rails , but I wanted a true sprung solo seat w/ rails. There is one issue to consider..the front of the seat is narrow and the frame of the 09 FLH is wider than previous yrs and you can see underneath.
some may not like that. I dont. There is a pan that covers under the seat and up the fender; however it starts at the rear crash bar bolts and does not cover anything forward. Looked at police air solo seats and the HD cover is I'll fitting and has a big hole for the air shock not to mention what it would look like when I got done hacking at it So I decided to make my own out of fiberglass. Almost done (had to put the two-up back on for Darla) A little trimming, sanding then paint and then I will post some pics up. A newbbie here so bare with me Thanx
This is my new Road King and I love it, the only changes I have done so far is change the bars and added bullet turn signals, love 'the look' , just need to get more funds to change the wheels, not sure what to yet.
