Default 2500 mile oil changes
Does anyone change there oil at 2500 mile increments?

Yes. The filter isn't much good after that. I use dino too, can't see pi$$in out the cash for synthetic if it isn't in the hole very long.

I dont see the harm if I use the syn3 oil. It is what the manual says

I didn't use to on my Fatboy. Mainly because I had Syn3, so I changed it every 5000 miles. But I am still using dinosour oil on the Street Glide. I just did the 1000 mile service and the manual calls for a service at 5000 miles. Does that mean it's ok to change dino oil every recommended service interval? Now I'm curious as to what is the proper frequency for changing dino oil! I do NOT want to start another oil thread, but what is the recommended oil change frequency for dino or syn?
