Default Facotry Fairing mount issue!

I purchased a Fairing Factory tour pack mount for the pak I purchased and went to install and mount today in anticipation of our trip to Hagerstown MD this weekend only to discover that my Tallboy seat is too wide in the rear! The bracket for the tour pack wont go around the seat and into its mounts... Besides that is looks like it sits way to far forward!

Anyone else with this issue... Im looking for a workaround before friday! Thanks fellas and ride safe this holiday!

I don't know what kind of Mount you have, but I've never seen one that got anywhere near the seat

It is there standard detach mount for the tourpack, It doesn't look all that much more narrow then my sissy bar mount. but its a world of difference when I try to put it on.

Sorry for the horrible spelling! Fat fingers, little phone.

If you haven't done so already, remove the seat and see if the mount will go on the bike. If not, you'll know the product won't work on your bike w/o some unusual effort on your part. If it goes on the bike, you may be able to fit the Tallboy on the bike after installing the tour pak, use an alternative seat, etc.

I'm not personally familiar with the product. Regret reading of your troubles; hope you sort it out.

What does the vendor say?

Carl

Ok, doing some research, this is embarassing but is there suppose to be different mounting posts for the tourpack..... I am using the stock ones for the sissy bar. Is there a set of posts that are suppose to be farther back behind the seat?

Enjoy your visit to Hagerstown Bike Week. Don't expect it to be a Daytona or Sturgis. Spend lots of money and help boost our revenue. I will be at Friday nights event and in working mode at Saturday & Sunday events. Ride safe.
