I had my 07 eglide dynoed in january and got 67 hp and 84tq running v/h true duels,se air cleaner se race pipes and a pclll with an 812-011 map installed am not real happy with the numbers and am considering changing the mufflers to the s/e ll's
Everything looks good, I personally like to see SAE correction used and smoothing 5, but this is OK. Youratmospheric correctionwasSTD, and your smoothing was 2. Let's say that you are comparing to someone's graph that usedtoday's more common correction of SAE and smoothing of 5, your numbersare approx 5-6% higher. The most importantthing hereis that your dyno operator did use a correction for atmospheric conditionssoif you ever go back, as long as the same dynosetup is used, you can compare to your previous pulls. But as you can see here, what correctionsystem was used, if any, and smoothing numberscan affect the results dramaticallymaking comparing numbers from dyno to dynosomewhat difficult unless you understand dynos. It even gets more difficult in the automotive chassis dyno world because many brands of chassisdynos are popular and the DynoJet brandusuallyreads 10-15% higher then the other brands, sowhen stating car dyno numbers, we have to state what brand of dyno also.
In my opinion, your HP curve looks good, no powerdips or bulgesmeaning that your combination is working well across the RPM spectrum at wide open throttle. Your A/Flooks good, would not want it any more lean in a few places.

Thanks Geargrinder. Like I said, learning as I go and wanted a second opinion. What do you mean about not being any more lean in a few places? Are you leaning towards maybe suggesting it could be beneficial to richen it in a few areas? Thanks again.

No, like I stated, you should be OK, you're just at mypersonallean limit of 13.2:1 A/F ratio for an air cooled, naturally aspirated engineduring a wide open throttle run, some tuners like it even more lean. Without personally testing the bike I really can't comment any further. If you were a road course race driver anddid a lot of sustained wide open throttleaccelerations, I would richen you upbetween 3800 to 4200 and 5100 to 5600 RPM. Getting even more technical, I'velearnedto look for the peak torque RPM range (your graph does not show torque)where we are most prone to detonation because of peak cylinder pressures, richen it up there, like mid to high 12s A/F,to prevent detonationand thenrun it a little more lean, around 13 A/F, taperedbefore and after that area where cylinder pressures are not as high thus less prone to detonation. OK, enough of my boring tuning stratagies if anyone is still reading.
According to his graph, they properlyoperated the dyno byuseing SAE correction whichcompensates for differentelevations, temps, humidity and barometric pres. They also used #5 smoothing which gives more accurate numbers, a good dyno shop, watch out for dyno #sfrom dynos thatare improperly operated.
AMEN! I have read too many unbelieveable HP and TQ results that make no sense. Too bad there's not a way to standardize everyone's results - actually, I suppose there'd be ways to "get around" any sort of standardization just to sell someone's miracle cam, carb, or tuning device.
I had my 07 FLHT done a few weeks back but didn't get a stock reading.
When finished it was 71.8 HP and 89.8 TQ
the setup is SE AC, KN Filter, Fulsac duals and 99 version SE Slipons running a PCIII with custom map. This is a good reading for me but we could always want more !
