I finally decided on 16" 1.5" Carlini gangster apes... I absolutley loooooove them, so comfortable and I think they look badass. My oinly complaint is that now I tyhink the windshield looks stupid.. lol.. but I took it off for one ride and realized how spoiled I am now haha, I cant ride without it now! oh well.. Im thinking maybe a tinted windshield would look better.
But anyways, slowly, the bike is turning into how I want it, a little at a time..

Bars look great. The windshield still looks fine on the bike. I wouldn't worry about it. Wind protection makes the ride so much more enjoyable. I doubt I would ever ride without it again.

oh yeah, its not a real complaint.. I dont love the look of the shield.. especially now with the new bars but its totally worth the comfort.
The Road King was made for the Carlini apes! They look great. I'd love to do the same to mine, only in chrome. FWIW, the windshield looks fine with that set-up!
Good lookin' scoot! I had Carlini's on mine for about 6 months but had to pull them off due to shoulder surgeries and constant pain while riding. I sure dig the looks of them though!!
