Do recognize that the link is to a corporate page promoting a product. They're going to tell you it in the worse possible manner in order to convince you to buy their product.

Not saying at all that ethanol does not have problems, it certainly does. But, on a motorcycle, especially one that lives in a garage, it's not nearly the problem it is when compared to an outboard motor boat, or a plastic gas can left in the rain for months out behind a shed.

Maybe so but we should all probably use some type of fuel treatment if we plan not to ride our bikes for a few months, i.e., winter time in many parts of the country....

Better info below, the other site appears to be a marketing ploy for the products listed at the bottom.

A bit of Stabil will fix up any problems sitting over winter. I ride during the winter, and have never had an issue whatsoever.

Far better if the "gang green" catch on that ethanol was a bad idea from start to finish. How many of you are aware that we all are paying a hidden tax(collected by the oil companies) to the government? There is a regulation requiring cellulosic ethanol in annually increasing amounts in our gasoline. If it isn't there, the oil companies are fined. The really aggravating fact is that there is little or NO cellulosic ethanol available to blend with the gasoline making compliance impossible, yet the oil companies are fined anyway. Of course, as with all business taxes, ultimately the customers pay all the taxes.

Cellulosic ethanol is made from fermenting vegetation, not from corn or sugar. Remember switch grass? Great sounding idea that didn't work, yet we are still paying for the error. Ethanol is bad for food prices and bad for our vehicles, and at best, is break even as an energy source. It takes as much or more energy to make as the finished product delivers.
