Wish I could have. Would have given an arm to get a shot of my bike with a carrier in the background like my shot of the Golden Gate. Just didn't have the time with the amount of miles we had to cover.
The only thing that gets my blood going more than Harleys are aircraft carriers. Opening sequence from Top Gun still makes my heart race.
Looks like a great time but you needed to bring your own Harley Girl! LOL
Yea. Almost took the Ex Wife. (still close) Almost took an ex girlfriend (still friends). In the end, Im glad I went solo. The weather and the amount of miles in the time we had was just too severe for either of them to be able to have really enjoyed themselves. Glad I was only responsible for myself this trip. (plus I had more cargo room )
My buddies wife Elise is such a little trooper, and she loves riding as much as he does. So she was fine with it. But my Exes, it would have been more a test of endurance than and enjoyable trip.

Maybe next time you were only about 5 mi from it when you did your pic of the Coronado Bridge.
Me and three of my buddies did the same thing. We left the morn of the 4th and covered 1500 miles in 4 days. From LA to big tree park up north calif. We even camped at a KOA one night. But mainly up the coast where it was cool!
I'll post some photos
