I have a 2012 flhtcui and want to put in Progressive monotubes. My service manual says to remove inner fairing cap(under ignition switch) to access the top fork cap bolt.
In the online videos that I see people are removing the outer fairing to access the cap bolts. Which is the best method. I have removed the outer fairing off before but have not removed the fairing cap.
thanks.
Inner Fairing cap to access top fork cap bolt then loosen pinch bolt and they slide out. Have 6mm allen to remove bottom slider bolt and preferably a impact air wrench.
