$160 sounds like a good deal. Just wondering about Chrome/Pad quality and fitment. Was about to pull the trigger but wanted some reviews first.
This will be going on 13 Street Glide...
No experience with that particular item or seller, but you do know it is not "genuine" HD or HD OEM. That possibly means that quality is suspect and fit, durability, etc. may suffer.
Why not search this and other forums for members selling their geniune HD take offs when they are trading or upgrading? Most of what I don't buy new is bought that way ata considerable saving off of list. Also, when/if you do go to sell it, you will get almost all your money back if it is still in good shape.
Having bought some aftermarket stuff for other bikes and cars, I'm reluctant to spend almost as much for stuff of unknown origin or quality. My .02 worth. Good luck in your search.
Avoid it like the plague. I bought a black one. It did not fit right. Fought with it. I ended up buying a HD one. When I compared the 2 quality was lacking on the EBAY one. Weld splatter was painted over, and the welds looked like a 7th grader did them. On a positive note, the seller did return my money and even pay for return shipping. I even offered to pay for the shipping back, but they picked it up.
Looks to be "similar" as HD's, but not mentioned...so make's questionable. I have HD's set-up on my 09 FLHX, but it's black. Only note is you'll need the 2-point or 4-point mounting hardware to install on your bike (additional parts). This is the backrest frame (bars) and pad only...
I bought a Stealth luggage rack from a similar online vendor. No problem with that item whats so ever. This backrest has sold 46 of them and they have a 14 day refund policy if your not happy. You also have paypal to help settle any disputes with the transaction.
HD part number is 52627-09 cost is $180. The ebay one includes the backrest pad, the HD ones are about $100. The ebay one also includes billet back rest pad mount, the HD one is $70. So the whole HD set up would be $350.
