Was kinda dissapointed when I bought the Fuel Moto Jackpot 2-1-2 header due to I had to use my chrome and the V&H header came with it's own chrome and looked so much better but godda tell ya I installed the V&H header for a friend last night and I am so glad I got the FM header, The V&H header seemed paper thin and was already rusted on the inside and the FM header is allot thicker wall stainless and will tell ya I work maint. for a major food company and I tig weld allot of stainless and the welds on the FM header are awesome welding, So just wanted to say I am very happy I went with the FM header..

That's what I call an endorsement, I like reading from people who actually work in fields that can critique a product and tell us if something is good quality or junk.....thanks for that.

I agree its nice to hear educated opinion. but personally was pleased wit hmy V&H quaility and welds looked nice lil spatter if few places but nothing major. and i come from a pipefitter/welder back bround, i have nt seen a FM header but i imagine they are good quaility considering how much praise they get on the forums
I cannot speak to the Vance & Hines, but I just installed Fuel Moto's 2-1-2 ceramic lined headers. My neighbor commented that I had to reuse my oem heat shields, but his Vance and Hines had a different shape and my 2-1-2s were stock shaped. It was not an issue for me except that the oem heat shields are nothing special. Except were my boot heel has left a bit of black rubber, they look great.
Install on my Fuel Moto was a piece of cake and pipes seemed well built with clean welds and an even ceramic coating. It took about 40 minutes to uninstall the stock headers and mufflers and install the Fuel Moto headers and 4" slash down Jackpots.
Love my fuel moto headers. I think the advantage of having OEM heat shields is if something goes bad, it's quick fix without replacing the whole header. I've very please with fuel moto and would do the same install again and again. No issues here!!

Fuel Moto fit was good. Everything lined up.
hit the heat shield w shield with some 0000 steel wool and it ill take that boot right off. i have t odo it for bugs and tar from time to time
Yep, if I had it to do over Id go with the jackpot header , its much better quality. The Power Dual collection chamber is stamped sheet metal and the design of the power Dual makes it scrape on hard rt turns
Bluemagic 400 chrome polish and 0000 steel wool removes tar, boot marks on chrome fast. (it doesn't really remove the blueing though) but is a good polish..

Did you notice any less heat from the ceramic coated pipes.
