The Harley accessories are tested and HD is quite picky about their chrome. I sell Engineering software to several of the companies that supply HD as OEM's for the mirrors,hand controls, foot controls and pegs, ect.. All of the items have to pass HD quality standards.

Go ahead buy some cheap copy risers or foot pegs off of ebay and stand of the pegs and see what happens or a cheap set of bendy handle bars.. It's your life not mine. There are plenty of fakes out there for all products.
