I picked up a bottle of Raincoat and it works good. Put it on my shield and the FF visor.

I've used rain-x before, and found it overall unsatisfactory. It's delicate, and as soon as something like a wiper blade goes over it, it smears and alets the water start sticking. I have not liked it as a rain repellent.

Currently do have Aquapel, which I do like overall, but it also is not recommended for plastics. Don't know of anyone who's tried it anyhow to see how it reacted. While aquapel doesn't smear and lasts a lot longer, it's still not a magic bullet.

Pledge has worked for me in the past as a rain repellent...sorta. Mostly it would let the rain bead up, not necessarily blow away. Delicate and smearable, but easily redone (tend to carry a spray can and a rag with me).

RainX will even take coating(s) off paint...avoid at all cost...

Been using Lemon Pledge for years. Works well, available anywhere, and cheap.

Always try a re-curve window that is just under your eye level and avoid looking through the shield completely.

I've used raincoat. It works well. I use rainx on my clearview shield. Clearview is Rainx friendly!

RainX and plastics do not mix. Pledge works, and it's cheap. A spray-on wax will also work well.

Yes, not all shields are compatible with RainX, but it works great on a Clearview!

Your windshield is too tall. No on Rain-X, yes on wax. Pledge is fine.
