I put the TW777's in my bike about 2 months ago and have had a permanent grin on my face ever since, super quick and strong. The only con I have found is that under 2700rpm there is a lot of lag in the throttle but I am hoping that a dyno is going to help with that.
Without a bump in compression that's something your gonna have to live with. A tune might help some but if they are coming alive at 2700 your doing pretty good if your bike is stock internally.
Hey to all in the room I am thinking of getting a used 2010 Street Glide with less than 5000 miles on it and I want to add a Thunderheader and Tmax EFI with a SE heavy Breather added ASAP. Can anyone give me a ballpark on the gains I would get if I added TW 777 cams to a TC 96 with no big bore kit? I am curious because I have never seen Dyno results with this aftermarket equipment installed on a TC 96.
I am scratching my head on this...Currently I have two bikes, one that I built last winter with 585 SS gear drive cams, stage 4 heads and compression. The bikes is fast and runs very well. All of this by butt dyno and speedo. Both of my bikes have Tmax so there is no need for dyno and I don't have the exact numbers. But what I can't wrap my head around is this. My 13 RG with an AC/ duals and 777's feels much faster than my other "big" build. IS it possible? Can these cams open it up that much? I have another buddy who has been riding for years with a big build and he was surprised that I walked away from him with just these cams?
Anyone else running these cams and feel the same way?
I also run TMax in my RG with Andrews 57....my butt dyno seemed fine...but when I had it dynotuned eaather than the canned map...made a huge difference...The 585 gear drive cams are in my 124... love um...my RG couldn't touch it.

With the stock engine the 777 will do about the same as a SE204 with the 204 out doing it upto about 4500. Put 107 with heads and compression and the 777's will outdo the 204 by a bunch. A stock 96 with good tune and 204 will get about 88hp and 105 torque. A 103 stock will get about 95 and 112 torque. That .577 lift on the 777 is pushing the stock springs too far to suit me. It really needs the 585 Beehive springs and compression and head work and Cubic inches. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks! I guess I will do a BB kit as well no reason for me to cheap out.
