These come with the 14 SGS I ordered I cant wait to try them out.
I was also worried about each shock doing different things Until I read that Ohlins new front suapension for the FL's is built the same way and I for one think Ohlins knows what their doing.
Pretty sure the H-D Premium Shocks on our '13 SE Road King will be available within a couple weeks if anyone's looking.
I'm running a set of Öhlins 3-3 from Howard at Motorcycle Metal on our 2011 Dyna FXDWG. The transformation from OEM & Progressive 440HDs was amazing. I should note, my wife and I tip the scales at 275lbs combined.
So, since I'm only about 20 minutes away from Traxxion, I'll be checking with them on pricing and availability of the Öhlins as well as the Bitubo's. Once we have the new shocks installed, the stock ones might go on the market.
A riding buddy just took a set off of his '13 CVO RG, so gonna stick them on our Ultra and see how they do. Wife and I together put close to 400 pounds on the bike, add another 80 pounds of baggage when traveling on long trips. Will be interesting to see how they do. Coming aback to the bagger world after being away for a few years, I sure loved riding the Heritage with a Shotgun Shock on it...
My comments on the HD Premium Shocks aren`t as positive as in the posts before.
The main reason for installing these shocks was the wobbling in curves on corrugated pavement, which is really an issue with my Ultra 09.
But I`m disappointed in this upgrade. The ride may be a little bit more stable, but if I want to cure the problem, I have to take step two and install a stiffer front end (fork legs and oil).

I've had the Premiums on mine for most of the summer ( About 4000 miles ) and I'm sold on them big time. Alone or two up, they ride 100 % better than stock. Excellent bang for the buck. Gonna do the HD Premium fork upgrade next..................

If you have wobble in curves, rear shocks aren't going to fix it. You need to look into a Tru Trac or similar stiffening device. Do a search on here and you'll find lots of posts comparing the different styles available.

Im surprised you are having problems wobbling in curves on an 09 frame. The 08's were pretty bad but 09's stiffened up quite a bit. If I was in a sweeper doing 70 and hit a bump my 09 would wobble but that is the same with most bikes.
Wondering if there is another reason for your wobble? Swingarm bushings? Head Bearing? Tire Pressure? Wrong Tires?
They make braces for the 09 frame but your the first person Ive heard complain about an actual wobble with them.
Ill be interested to find out what you do to correct this.
