And you've got a great bike that you've only made better.
My days of selling and buying bikes every year or so are long behind me. These bikes are very modular, and easy to upgrade and improve. I had a Road King, wanted a Road Glide, so I stripped it down to the frame, and rebuilt it.
Thanks boogaladude! I remember you've been into the early TwinCam motor and know why I chose it, planning to keep it until ?? ( Last bike probably...)
And that's a very nice adaptation on your bike as well!
I have seen a few CVO Road Kings at my dealer, they are awesome! It is very comfortable behind the shield of a Road King and really easy to remove if you like the wind and bugs experience. Go for it!
the cvo roadking is a great looking bike, but that fairing they put on it just blasts the air right into your face. I rode the ultra and rk cvo's on demo rides and greatly preferred the ultra's ride and comfort. I just recommend that if you lay out that much $$$, try out the ultra too before you buy.

thanks for the thoughts folks. I DO like the looks of the RK, and would really like the ABS and whole CVO thang, but I just don't see it. In some ways I see it as a step backwards. I have a fairing, kickazz sound system, upgraded seat and suspension front and rear, none of which the RK has. It's not so much the cash as it is my perception of value for dollar.
I think I'll be keeping the Roadie. Whewww!! Glad to have that out of my system.

I would never go from a full fairing bike to a RK. Stay away from the CVO Fugly or SG or you might change your mind LOL
