I will need to do a quick search, I really need a place for a couple items up there. Any others besides the HD version?

I use mine all the time and like the others mentioned, found the contents to be the trouble. I agree with johnny c about them scratching the windshield but I get worse from road debris so will have to replace it at some time anyway.

I bought the Hoppnel brand at an Indy shop that was only $58.00. I am real happy with this, mine dosent rattle, and I keep my garage door opener, Mp3 player and phone in the pouches.

I also have the dark tinted windshield and you cant see it.

I bought an aftermarket one from jp or dennis kirk (forget which) in 2001.
Still have it doesn't rattle. But then there is NO metal on it and the pouches
are a little softer.
The mounting plate (per se) is viny plastic (hard but flexible). Holes didn't
line up perfect but tin snips cut the openings bigger.
works great for me.

I hate to disagree with the contents making it rattle. For the past 2 weeks mine has been empty and it still rattles. I do agree that when there is stuff in the pouches it rattles but that's not the sole problem. The thing does scuff the windshield as mentioned. I'm cool with the scuff marks as long as it doesn't rattle. I think the Velcro is an excellent idea and one I'll try.

I asked a few people around here before buying my pouch, most had the same complaint.,. So I bought mine from JC Whitney, mounts with velcro 2" strip across the windshield (looks better on a tinted windshield) but no noise and holds everything I need it to

I just put Velcro on the bottom and works great.

I tried the velcro idea and it works like a champ. one tab on each outside corner.
