2006 Ultra, VH oval slip ons, Ness big sucker. Stock ECM. Currently with a Fuel Pak.
So I have a PC III USB that I never installed on my 04 Dyna. The label on the PC III has 805-510 on it. The dynoJet website calls for 807-213 map. Is there anything that is Dyna specific about the unit? With the new map flashed, will this work with my Ultra? Any issues that I should be aware of?
The part numbers are different. Double check on powercommander.com FYI with the PCIII don't wait until the check engine light goes out to start it. It's powered by the fuel injectors and will crank until the injector circuit is powered again.

What happens if you wait? Been running the PCIII for about 5 years, I always wait for the CEL to go out before starting, I haven't observed any negative effects.

thats opening a can of worms there. your going to get diferent opinions from different people. read the manual it does not say you must wait till the CEL light goes out. it states the CEL LIGHT WILL STAY ON FOR 4 SECONDC AFTER THE KEY IS TURNED ON.
i have read my manual over and over and there is nothing stating you must wait. now that being said this is my 2nd bike with PC III and have noticed they both start easier if i turn on the key and right away hit the start button.

It doesn't hurt anything if you wait, it's just not necessary.
This was a bit of an issue in 07 with the PC111. If you wait it takes a few revolutions for the engine to fire vs. instant ignition if you immediately hit the start button. It has been confirmed that there is no harm in not waiting.

Nothing is going to happen. My bike just takes a lot more cranking if I wait. If not, it starts right up. I was just mentioning that because i had a problem and went to the PCIII website and found that information and it fixed my issue.
