First time I have hauled two touring bikes before. I have tried several points to tie them down, the most secure and less side to side wobble I get is from the lower handle bars. Will it hurt to compress the front forks a little bit? I'm just a bit worried they may bang against each other the other ways I have tried.
we tie from lower handle bars and from back foot rest on sg or back bars in front of saddle bags on eg. just be sure to tie front and back. the back will dance'
are you using front wheel chocks?
I used one of these a couple of times. I didnt tie the back good and it danced . Brand new windshield got scratched up on right side. Next year, left side got scratched. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Trail...#ht_607wt_1165
