Help....Over the last two weeks it's been one issue after another first.... no crank, replaced starter relay ..... couple of days later rear turn signals all flash when turning rt/lt, code b1121 and b1122, replaced load equalizer. Now today the Radio is inop (doesn't even light up )as well as the oil temp gauge. No dtc's fuses and connectors check ok on radio. The connectors are all secure on gauge. Went over my previous work and the surrounding area. Getting out the manual and schematics next. Thanks in advance for your help.
Hope you find the gremlin.
Have you looked at ALL the wiring, especially where flexing is involved, sounds like a wire rubbed through/ broke making intermittent connection.
Get a good flash light, and mirror.
Have you checked your charging system, possible over/under voltage.
Check battery connections for looseness and/or corrosion.
Good luck.
Another good place you could start is all of your grounds, make sure they are clean and tight. I have seen a few threads over the years where dirty/loose grounds make chit act weird. Wish you luck bro.
FIXED !!! It was a gnd issue. Removed radio gnd from rt side post under seat and it worked. Hmmmm, starter relay also grounded here, just installed new relay, doesn't mean it's good.....replaced relay, hooked up grounds and all is okay. At least with the radio. Temp gauge is toast gotta get a new one. Thanks for your input.
Way to track it down!. Now pay yourself $90.00 an hour for how ever many hours it took you to find it and buy yourself something nice for the bike!
Good job man

Thx Griff. That was one hell of an educated redneck azz guess, lol.... Guess it does pay off to lurk around here while I cant ride my bike. Glad I could help the OP out. That will be 50 bucks or a case of beer when I get back home from sucking sand
