Got an Electrical Problem - Need Help

I replaced stator last year since I had the primary off to replace another bearing. Stator plug had been leaking for awhile. Other bike is over 10 years Stator is bolt on and off. The manual makes the plug seem hard. I was not able to do it correctly. I don't believe it is leaking though.
