"Squeek" between inner & outer fairing.. Remedies???

"Squeek" between inner & outer fairing.. Remedies???

I got my inner fairing painted over this past winter, and since this season of riding has started, I have noticed a minor squeek coming from the inner and outer fairing. It all depends on RPMs, and vibrations. It isn't constant or obnoxious... I'd just like to take care of it because as time goes by, it's bothering me more and more. So what can I try here??? Any of you guys experience this ever?? I'm thinking of splitting the 2, and putting something?? on the seal between them...

You'll have to find it first then go from there. Mine was where the handle bars go into the fairing. Put some grease on the rubber and it was good to go.

Squeaking

I'm having the same exact problem...I tighten up the speaker brackets and the fairing brackets which often can break or crack!!! Thought it wuz the windshield but it wasn't!!! Keep us posted as to what u find!!! Oh... Mine has settled down quite nicely..
